To retain 1-year medicaid coverage for recipients of assistance under State plans funded under part A of title IV who lose medicaid eligiblity because of income when the recipient enters the workforce. — (THREE-FIFTHS OF THOSE SENATORS DULY CHOSEN AND SWORN NOT HAVING VOTED IN THE AFFIRMATIVE, SENATE REJECTED A MOTION TO WAIVE CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET ACT WITH RESPECT TO CONSIDERATION OF ROCKEFELLERFEINGOLD-MOSELEY-BRAUN AMENDMENT NO. 3019, TO PROVIDE AN EXTENSION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, TO PROVIDE FOR HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES, AND TO EXPRESS THE SENSE OF THE SENATE THAT CONGRESS SHALL DEFINE A BASIC HEALTH BENEFIT PACKAGE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, ALL CHILDREN UP TO AGE 12 YEARS, AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES LIVING UNDER THE 100% OF FEDERAL POVERTY IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT THESE GROUPS ARE ENTITLED TO A FEDERAL GUARANTEE OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR A MEANINGFUL SET OF BENEFITS.)
