THE DAVIS-BACON ACT REQUIRES PAYMENT OF PREVAILING WAGES AND FRINGE BENEFITS TO WORKERS ON FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS OR PUBLIC WORKS.
