TO AGREE TO SEVERAL COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS TO H.R. 13511 THAT PROVIDE FOR AN OVERALL $16.3 BILLION TAX CUT, RATE CUTS FOR INDIVIDUALS IN CERTAIN TAX BRACKETS, A 6% WIDENING OF EXISTING BRACKETS, AND AN INCREASE IN BOTH THE STANDARD DEDUCTION AND THE PERSONAL EXEMPTION. THESE COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS WOULD ALSO FIX THE INVESTMENT TAX CREDIT PERMANENTLY AT 10%, RESTRUCTURE CAPITAL GAINS TAXES (EXEMPTING UP TO $100,000 IN PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF RESIDENCES ONCE IN A TAXPAYER'S LIFETIME), AND WOULD REDUCE TAXES FOR SMALL BUSINESSES.
