THE BROWN AMENDMENT WOULD REDUCE THE FUNDING FOR THE CLINCH RIVER BREEDER REACTOR TO $33 MILLION, THE APPROPRIATION TO BE SPENT ON THE COMPLETION OF THE SYSTEM DESIGN, AND ON THE LIQUIDATION OF ITS CONTRACTS.
