TO TABLE THE HANSEN AMENDMENT TO S. 2057. THE HANSEN AMENDMENT NULLIFIES A RECENTLY ADOPTED AMENDMENT TO THE CLEAN AIR ACT THAT ALLOWED THE PRESIDENT TO PROHIBIT ANY MAJOR FUEL-BURNING STATIONARY SOURCE FROM USING OTHER THAN LOCAL OR REGIONAL FUEL SUPPLIES.
