TO TABLE THE EAGLETON AMENDMENT TO S. 995, THE BILL AMENDING THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964 SO AS TO PROHIBIT DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF PREGNANCY OR RELATED MEDICAL CONDITIONS. THE EAGLETON AMENDMENT STATES THAT IT SHALL BE THE EMPLOYER'S OPTION TO INCLUDE ELECTIVE ABORTION PLANS IN THE COMPANY'S MEDICAL BENEFITS.
