THE MODIFYING BYRD (WV AMENDMENT OUTLINES U.S. POLICIES TOWARDS CYPRUS, GREECE AND TURKEY IN THE EVENT OF LIFTING THE ARMS EMBARGO AGAINST TURKEY. THE SPARKMAN AMENDMENT REPEALS THE LIMITED EMBARGO ON ARMS SALES TO TURKEY.
