RES. 378 PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE STUDIES AND INVESTIGATIONS TO BE CONDUCTED OF STANDING AND SELECT COMMITTEES OF THE HOUSE IN THE SECOND SESSION OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH CONGRESS. THE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT STATES THAT THERE SHALL BE PAID OUT OF THE CONTINGENT FUND OF THE HOUSE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIMARY EXPENSE RESOLUTION NOT MORE THAN THE AMOUNT SPECIFIED IN SECTION 2 FOR INVESTIGATIONS AND STUDIES OF EACH COMMITTEE NAMED IN SUCH SECTION, INCLUDING EXPENSES, THEREBY EXCLUDING COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS.
