IT INCREASES THE AMOUNT SPENT ON CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAMS AND EXTENDS CERTAIN NUTRITION PROGRAMS THAT EXPIRE SEPT. 30 1985 TO FISCAL 1988. THE BILL INCREASES ALLOCATIONS TO THE WIC PROGRAM AND INCREASES SUBSIDIES FOR SCHOOL LUNCHES. THE BILL ALSO INCREASES THE MAXIMUM TUITION LEVEL THAT PRIVATE SCHOOLS MAY CHARGE IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL MEAL PROGRAMS.
