THIS AMENDMENT WOULD SPECIFY THAT FULL COST-OF-LIVING INCREASES EQUAL TO THE RATE OF INCREASE IN THE CONSUMER PRICE INDEX BE GIVEN IN RETIREMENT PAY TO THOSE MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO HAVE COMPLETED 40 YEARS OF SERVICE.
