TO TABLE THE BUMPERS, AR) AMENDMENT TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE AMENDMENT TO HJ RES 668, THE PUBLIC DEBT LIMIT INCREASE BILL. THE BUMPERS AMENDMENT WOULD PROVIDE FOR ADEQUATE FINANCING OF THE COSTS INCURRED BY THE FISCAL SERVICE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY IN PROVIDING SERVICES RELATING TO THE FEDERAL OLD-AGE AND SURVIVORS INSURANCE TRUST FUND AND THE FEDERAL DISABILITY INSURANCE TRUST FUND, AND TO EXEMPT ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES FOR THE PROGRAM OF OLD-AGE, SURVIVORS, AND DISABILITY INSURANCE BENEFITS ESTABLISHED UNDER TITLE II OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT FROM SEQUESTRATION AND REDUCTION UNDER THE BALANCED (CONTINUED) BUDGET AND EMERGENCY DEFICIT CONTROL ACT OF 1986.
