Their Record

Privacy notice

Their Record collects as little personal information as possible. The public voting data is about members of Congress; visitors do not need an account to use the site.

Vote-alert and watchlist waitlist

When you join the waitlist, Their Record stores your email address, selected interests, the support-page source label, created and updated timestamps, the consent-copy version accepted with the submission, and the time you confirm your address.

The email status is pending and unverified until you use the confirmation link. This form records interest only; it does not prove mailbox ownership or subscribe the address to ongoing messages. When you join, Their Record sends one confirmation email through Resend, our email delivery provider. When the feature is ready, Their Record may send one invitation. Before any ongoing alerts or product emails are sent, you must confirm that you control the address.

We do not sell waitlist information or use it for political fundraising. A record is kept for a maximum of 24 months after its most recent submission and is removed sooner when you use the removal link in the confirmation email or ask through the private removal contact.

Support payments

Support buttons send you to a Stripe-hosted payment page. Their Record does not receive or store card numbers. Stripe handles payment details under its own terms and privacy practices.

Site analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic such as page visits and referrers. Analytics is used to improve the public site and evaluate whether new features are useful.

Removal and questions

To leave the waitlist or ask for your stored information to be removed, email the private removal contact.
